We are currently in stage 1 of our development, currently searching for volunteers, to work on the kernel, and add in the basic commands and files of the Linux kernel, to make our distribution of FreeDOS stable, safe, and reliable, and run Linux programs such as Firefox, and Banshee media player. We will progress to stage 2, which the user interface is constructed, and major stability patches are added, when stage one is complete.

We currently need programmers skilled in OpenWatcom C Compiler or Borland C 3.1, and in NASM assembler, as well as C or Assembly programming languages, as FreeDOS requires those skills. Sources - #1, #2

We are currently searching for volunteers, as we have only one developer, and need more developers to ensure the project gets done, and we need volunteers with experience in managing a project of this scale, just email us at [email protected], and we will interview you ASAP via email, or Instant Messenger, if you want to join our project
